In order to apply all these steps at once, it is useful to have these 3 things ready now:
A domain name
your credit card
15 minutes time
If you are ready, let's get started right away to publish your first blog post.
1- Register for web hosting (open an account)
To start your registration, go to Bluehost now and click the green “ get started now ” button. You will be able to benefit from the discounted prices offered on the page you will go to, and you will have a FREE domain name with the plan you choose.
“Basic” is perfect for beginners. Since it is the most affordable option, you will not spend unnecessary costs at the beginning by choosing it.
Under the Basic plan, Bluehost provides 5 free email accounts with your chosen domain extension. In addition, it offers services such as automatic daily, weekly and monthly backups of all your accounts (the possibility of easily restoring all your data with one click if it is damaged) and a free SSL security certificate. These are the details that are necessary for first-class quality and after a while, they are a must-have. For example, Google ranks only sites with SSL security certificates at the top of searches. The domain name you specify does not necessarily have to end with .com. If your first choice has been taken before, you can try different extensions (such as net, org, info).
If you have a domain name that you have purchased before, use the "I have a domain name" box on the right and click the next button.
iii. Complete your registration
There are 3 parts on the next page.
The first is account information. Enter your contact information here as you normally would. You should not leave blank, except for the optional line.
The next section package information gives you some additional service options.
At the top, you are asked to select the chart of accounts. 36 months is the cheapest, but you can also choose 12 or 24 month periods.
You don't need to be busy with the options you see below. But there are two things you should know: When you buy a domain name, your information is added to a public database. If you don't want your information to be viewed, you can tick the box in front of SiteLock Security (Domain privacy) so that Bluehost will appear as the registrant, but you will still have full control and ownership of the domain. If you don't care about your information being public, deselect this option and you'll save $1.99 per month. You can buy it later if you need it.
Note: The amount written in the "Total" line at the bottom 2.20 in the image above) is withdrawn from your credit card at once (and you own your site for 36 months without any further payment).
The last part is payment information only. If you want a payment option other than a credit card, click the " more payment options " link.
